Dr. John Gahl

Dr. John Gahl John Michel Gahl is a C.W. LaPierre Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Missouri and a member of the Sidney Kimmel Institute for Nuclear Renaissance. He is director of the Nuclear Engineering Program, an academic area program leading to graduate degrees in Nuclear Engineering. He is also the director of the Material Science Program at the University of Missouri Research Reactor Center, the largest university-based research reactor in the United States. His research interests include nuclear, plasma, and beam science, material science, and pulsed power technology. He received his BS from the Ohio State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University.
